City Clerk shall have the following power and duties:
- Meetings of Council; statement and record of council action.
- Publication of ordinances; amendments; authentication of measures.
- Notice publication of hearings, elections and other official actions.
- Certification of measures and plats.
- Chief accounting officer.
- Certification of tax levy.
- Monthly report on status of municipal accounts.
- Balance of funds.
- Annual public reports, preparation, publication and copies.
- Recordkeeping
- Furnishing copies of records, papers or public documents.
- Committee, board and commission meetings, attendance, records.
- Communications and petitions, filing, endorsement of city council auction.
- Licenses and permits, issuance and record.
- Announcement of appointment.
- Elections
- Warrants, drawing, contents.
- Collection of charges, rent or fees.
